Amanda Elliott

Prior to starting my adventure as a library media specialist, I taught language arts for several years. I am passionate about helping and educating children, preparing students for academic and lifelong success, helping students and teachers as an instructional partner, promoting the value of young adult literature, and staying current with new and existing technology.

I have an amazing husband and two wonderful children. I am a product of the Madison County School System myself, and I also attended our Career Tech. Academy in high school, where I attained my cosmetology license. I am a strong advocate for attaining a skill that will last a lifetime! I enjoy photography, being outdoors, all things hairstylist-related, Alabama football (Roll Tide!), reading, technology, and music.
